Tripods lie wide open and empty page awaits There is no electricity, yet those bulbs glow inside invisible gates. The sky is cloudy without any birds' cry Yet I see nothing, but a blinking firefly. The sun has set after the moon has lit up At the corner lie silently speaking coffee cups. Smiles will be empty without shining eyes And I do nothing, but wait for fireflies. Nights are dark and darker are the days Google notifies how terrible will be the haze. Glasses are clean and cleaning further will pop a 'why' And I dream of nothing, but a beautiful firefly. Stood on the platform but the train hasn't arrived The equation is there but it needs to be derived. Life spirals hard into infinite twinkling sky Yet I am amazed by nothing, but a point-like firefly. Mirror reflects, but the reflection is not mine Whatever happens, some people always reply, 'I am fine'.
